Central Nephrology is proud to be associated with the Lakeland Vascular Access Center (LVAC), an Azura Vascular Care managed entity, and subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care of North America. They have been committed to delivering the highest standard of vascular care to our community since they first opened their doors in 2008. They specialize in dialysis access management, providing vascular care to ESRD patients in a convenient outpatient setting.
This state-of-the-art center is dedicated to dialysis patients, offering a convenient alternative to hospitals in treating hemodialysis vascular access complications. A Board Certified Interventional Nephrologists/Radiologists performs all necessary procedures to re-establish adequate blood flow through a poorly functioning arteriovenous fistula or graft. This is done promptly, without unnecessary delay, and is usually completed in less than an hour — allowing patients to return to their normal dialysis schedules.
